Emerald Keyes, Orange Beach 2008

What FUN!! Perfect weather, very nice condo, beautiful beach and best friends...who could ask for more! October was the best time of year that I have ever been to the beach. Not too many people on the beach, not hot...... mid 80's most of the week, sand didn't burn our feet................. just right!. We are going to have to make this an annual October bunko trip. I love you girls!

I have been busy trying to decide on a spot for Ben and Lindsay's wedding rehearsal dinner. This is way over my head, so I hope that some of you can give me some ideas! Save January 10th, 2009 for their wedding. It'll be sometime that evening...not sure of the time yet. I have at least reserved a place for their honeymoon! They'll be staying at the Royal Plantation in Jamica. Looks beautiful...wish I could go there. A couple of their friends have been there for their honeymoon and loved it. Maybe one day our bunko group could go there for one of our field trips!

Hey Girls,
Wanted to post our pictures from the trip to the Delta. I thought I could put them in a slide show, but haven't quite figured out how to do it yet. I'll get Ben to help me figure this out! I have lots more picutres, but didn't want to take up any more space. It took me an hour to get these few pictures on here. Ha.... I vow to become more savvy on using this blog. Hopefully I'll have the slide show done this weekend.
Your sis, June

Our Own Martha Stewart

Okay! Everyone that was at bunko last night has to agree, Melinda is our "Martha Stewart" . I don't know about the rest of you girls but I am always amazed at bunko at her house. The meals are always to die for, and we usually eat enough that should kill us all. Last night was exceptional, for appetizers the wonderful Captain Rodney dip, (my personal favorite), pool dip, fruit, and asparagus dip. YUM! Then the food really got good. Pork tenderloin with jezebel sauce ( i wonder who that was for), potato casserole, rice casserole, a great salad, and the new dish for the night the asparagus rolled in phillo pastry. Those were unbelievable. I can't wait to try them for myself. It was great that Susan was in town and was able to join us, hopefully she will be able to come next time too. Leisa, we missed you but will see you next month since it is at your house. It is always so hard to be able to catch up with what is going on with everyone. There is so little time and so much to talk about. Hopefully, this blog will help us all keep in touch with what is going on with each other.
If we can get everyone to start posting, ( I am getting pretty good with the terminology, don't you think) we can post about just about anything and we won't be so out of touch with each other. I for one would like updates on everyone children's, good or bad. Okay, everyone should start writing. As you can tell, I am not much of a journalist, even though I did take classes and wrote for the school paper. Bet you didn't know that. Love you all and can't wait to read someone elses post.

Missing Person

Okay! I was trying to find a picture of all eight of us, but Susan you are missing again. I am going to have to do better about taking pictures when we are all together. I have some great pictures from years past but they are not on this computer. If I can figure out how to put them on here I will add some to our blog. This was a great Halloween party. I think it was in2005. We really can be a fun bunch. We had some great costumes this year.
